One day I found myself liking moving sculptures a lot. Without giving it a profound thought I just started making kinetic mobiles.

Slowly I discovered various materials available in my neighborhood: Kuramae area in Taito, Tokyo. There is a thriving leather craft and shoe making industry that inevitably create off-cut leathers (because animals never grow in shapes of bags and wallets). We also have an amazing retail and wholesale shops that sell dried flowers and various parts. Adding to that is some shells and corals from my seaside hometown and random things I find in streets.

ふと、そういえば動く彫刻やモビールが好きだなと思った瞬間があり、深く考えずに作り始めました（いつも考えすぎてしまうので、わざと考えないよう、頭を使わないように気をつけながら）。

モビールを作り始めると、私が住む、そしてものづくりの街として有名な台東区蔵前エリアで手に入る様々な素材に目が向くようになりました。レザークラフトが盛んな地域として必然的に出る革ハギレ、あらゆるパーツやドライフラワー等も手に入ります。加えて出身地千葉県銚子市の海岸で拾った珊瑚やプラスチック片などを合わせながら作っています。
